You know how rain is a big deal here in So CA! "STORM ALERT! LOL.
That means we have to make stews and soups, don a sweater, light the fireplace and pretend we really live in an area with actual weather!

The most damage I get here in Costa Mesa is a loss of mulch when my flower beds overflow and the little chippers start trailing down the driveway. Oy vey, such a disaster!

Oh, back to the soup. I also add liquid smoke and Braggs. They both add a heartiness that's hard to get in vegan cooking. Today I'm going to roast tons of garlic, onions and taters. I love to get them nice and carmelized so I can add them to whatever we are eating this week.
