and it is nice. BUT....I have burned food in it now four times. The cause three of the times was attempting to cook rice without a flame tamer or an insert, in the bare pot with water. The fourth time was burned beans, I didn't put enough water in the bean soup. I think the thicker bottom on the KR is nice. As long as I put plenty of water in the pot, I have great success.
