Many, MANY thanks to BobK for his patience in helping me work through my pc problem. I was having a problem getting things to cook thoroughly, especially beans, in my fagor splendid. What he helped me to figure out is that even though the little red thing popped up, I was NOT at high pressure yet! So, I just left the heat on high for 1 +/- minute or so, THEN lowered the heat. I have had success cooking both beans and artichokes, which I had problems with before. So, if you have a fagor and are having problems, this could be your answer. Thanks again, BobK!!!!
