My husband (the Original Carnivore, father of The Meat Eater) commented last night as we were eating this that my PC and this book are the two best investments we have made this year. This stuff smelled so good cooking that it was almost unbelievable! 1 1/2 cups dried chickpeas, soaked (I did the speed soak in my PC for 4 minutes, with the 18 min cook time they were perfect.) put everything in the pot, cook on high for 18 minutes. Use natural pressure release. If the chickpeas are cooked enough, add soy sauce to taste, if not cook them a bit more first. Original recipe calls for 1/4 cup minced fresh coriander, you put it in for the 18 minute cook time. I didn't have any, and it was fabulous anyhow!
