Thanks for checking. Last night I cooked risotto and tonight I cooked garlic potatoes in the pc. In both cases, I left the gas on high for a minute after the red-thing popped up, then lowered temp and started timing. Both times I timed it per the recipe, released pressure by quick release, and BOTH dishes were cooked to perfection! Sorry, I haven't gotten to beans yet, planning on that this weekend, but still, this is MUCH better than in the past. I guess I just wasn't letting it get up to high pressure. I will definitely post about the beans, though. Thanks again for all your help and patience.
