Subject: Pressure cooker size

I have the 6L Splendid (which is a Fagor I think). It's great for cooking large quantities. But I was wondering about getting a smaller one. I cooked 2 potatoes in it today and they would have done fine in a smaller one. Is the 4 quart a practical size? What size do you need to cook 1 cup of rice? I'm single and it seems a smaller one would be practical for me. Hope to get feedback that would help with my decision.
