Please, let me know why my pressure cooker seems to burn on the bottom I made a beef roast, had to cook, soak, use baking soda, and salt to get it clean. I used the correct time for a 1 1/2 lb roastwhich was 30 min on medium. I have an electric stove. Should I have used the short strainer ( not sure but this may be the diffuser) I never used a pressure cooker before, but sure like the time cut. I also made the wrapped cabbage rolls as per direction. again this burned., I cooked them for 30 min. However I did not use the short strainer.
