I can't believe I burned the cr*p out of it. It's been sitting outside my kitchen door for months now. My gardener must think I'm waiting for something to sprout from it. What happened was this: One busy day last year we had the family over for a birthday party. We were outside for some time when we kept smelling an odd odor. Eventually one of went inside and found the 4 qt blazing hot on the stove. Apparently one of the small grandkids turned the knob on the stove and the pc was happily cooking itself! Yikes! The fumes were horrible. I kept everyone outside and proceeded to put knob protectors on my grocery list. Unfortunately the finish is gone from the inside and out. It's a total loss. Thank goodness for Sabrina. If it were not for her "heads up" I would not have had the presence of mind to buy two sets. Now if only I could get myself to throw the old one away. It's so hard. Maybe I should make it my "Kuhn urn" and plant something lovely in it. Maybe a flame bush!
