Subject: Two PC questions

I'm not exactly a PC novice, but I've only used my old-fashioned, jiggle-top Presto (which is pretty much a piece of cr@p). I'm probably going to be buying one of the new types soon, and I have a couple of questions.

First, in the new PCs is it possible to cook beans without oil, or is adding a tablepoon or two of oil still recommended?

Second, I've seen that people are happy with their Fagors, so I'll probably buy one of those. (The Kuhn Rikons are out of my budget right now.) What other brands do people recommend or not recommend? For instance, I've been noticing a brand called Ultrex, but I don't know how reliable it is.
