I was so busy yesterday, I didn't even think about dinner until my husband called and said he was almost home. The chowder is so quick and easy that I decided on that. Did you try adding the soymilk? Really, it's delicious both ways, but I like the richness the soymilk adds. The onions cook well without any precooking unless you prefer the taste better when it's done that way. I just dump everything into one pot and call it good.
