You mentioned you used it for the first time last weekend. I was curious as to which recipe you tried first? I'm new at this as well and my first attempt was the garlic potatoes (pg 88). They were very good - quite a bit different from potatoes that have been boiled in water and then mashed. This is something you definitely should give a try if you like mashed potatoes. The best thing is it takes 3 minutes (plus the time to prepare the potatoes). If you don't care for garlic, don't use as much garlic as Sass calls for in her recipe.

My second attempt was the celery, corn and potato chowder and I definitely agree with Sandy Laurie that it is heavenly. It is eye-pleasing as well and so tasty!

That's all I have tried so far, but I would tend to agree with Sandy Laurie's list. She has been very helpful in answering my questions and offering advice so I think she's right on the money!
