Subject: "Three-in-one" pots are ideal for PC'ing

I was just visiting and thought I would let you know what PC'ers in India do. Most Indians manage cooking a meal with only a two-burner gas stove. They manage it by putting a stack of closely fitting pots inside their PC.
Usually, they put lentils (or presoaked beans) in the bottom pot, white rice in the second pot, and potatoes in the third pot. Of course, they put the appropriate amount of water with the lentils/beans/rice, and in the bottom of the PC. They cook them altogether on one burner. Then usually, they take the lentils/beans and turn them into a delicious sauce for the rice. And usually the potatoes are peeled, chopped, and turned into Indian-style hash-browns.
You may think it isn't any use to know this unless you can get the pots. Well, they sell them at my local Indian store here in Pittsburgh -- and they may be at a store near you. The ones that I saw were appropriate for a 6-liter PC. My mother-in-law got quite a kick out of showing me this neat trick when I was a newly-wed -- just married to her Indian son.
