Subject: What exactly is a PC?

I have almost every kitchen 'machine' there is, except a pressure cooker. Never had one, and have never eaten food made from one.
I would like to know everything there is to know about them.
How do they cook food?
Is there any foods you can't cook in them?
Do they cook faster then cooking in pots?
Do they hold nutrients better?
Can you make an entire meal in one?

Anything you can tell me about them would be appreciated!
