Just had this for supper, and wow is it good! From Lorna Sass. I think next time I'll try it with just a few walnuts, or none at all. It's pretty rich, and maybe it would still be good without the walnuts. The roasted garlic really makes this sauce, I've never roasted my own garlic before, and it was easy following her directions, used my toaster oven.
