If you have Lorna Sass' book "Great Vegetarian Cooking Under Pressure," virtually all of her soups and stews freeze and reheat beautifully! The beans can lose a little shape in the process, but nothing awful and the flavor stays good. Just don't pick one with potatoes in it because they get weird funky grainy if you freeze them. What you can do is make the dish without potatoes and add them when it's time to eat.

I'm cooking for two, so we have a lot of leftovers to save. I use the single serving Gladware and I love it. I've found it surprisingly sturdy and it goes right from the freezer to the microwave. My husband takes some great lunches to work that way!

Faves: Pasta e fagioli, Chickpeas Italiano, black bean chili, 15 bean stew, New Mexican pinto bean soup. Also try Sabrina's Tuscan bean soup recipe. That one looks yummy!
