Hi embarrassed~ I'm no pro on beans, but I just cooked last night my first ever pressure cooker meal, black beans, and I ate a huge bowl without one little peep of a problem. And believe me, I am very susceptible to beans. I speed soaked them first, then cooked 'em up. Very tasty, although quite hot for me (I'll cut back on the chili powder next time), but mmmm, mmmm, good! I wonder if the soaking and pressure cooking made the difference. Any of you bean pros have comments on that?
