100 grams of boiled broccoli has about 110 micrograms of folate. A cup of cooked oats has about 10 mcg. One medium banana has 20 mcg. One medium valencia orange has 47 mcg. 100 grams of cooked spinach has 146 mcg. One medium carrott has about 11 mcg. One stalk of celery has about 14 mcg.

It would seem to me that cooked grains, vegetables & fruit would give anyone a more than adequate amount of folate in their diet.
