I had been out of town for about 11 days, so the long daylight hours in Alaska, plus the record heat, made my garden grow like crazy! The broccoli had started to go to seed, so I cut it up with onions, spuds, carrots and several fresh herbs with rice milk and added some wild rice blend from the day before (I call it starter for my stews). Dh said it was the best he had ever eaten! Oh..... and I added some chopped up Garden burger sausages (vegan).
