I'm not a huge sauerkraut fan, but I think I'll try this! I agree with you, though, that 4 minutes is probably too long for the kale. If everything else needs a longer cooking time, I'll probably just steam the kale separately. But the carrots & celery do sound like a nice touch. Maybe this weekend I'll do some experimental cooking. ;D
