Subject: Kuhn Rikon questions

Kuhn Rikon lists "canning" as a suggested use for the 7 liter pc, but no others. Does anyone have any insight into this? Can I assume that the 5 liter is too short? The 6 piece duo set seems perfect for the way I would use a pc and the price is right ($199 @ Amazon), but to serve double duty as a pressure canner (someday) is appealing.

I e-mailed Kuhn Rikon on Sunday, but I have not gotten a reply. I hope that this isn't an indication of their customer service.
