Yes, I got it clean, finally! Do you remember what the name of the cleaner was that you used? I think what worked for me was a good long soak with dishwasher detergent, but I was nervous to try that. I did it for 2 hours first, then 4 hours, and couldn't see any damage, so let it go overnight. Then, I actually scraped most of the worst off, the rest I scoured with Barkeeper's Friend cleanser. Doing without my PC was a rough couple of days, but I lived through it. Now I'm thinking that when we go camping, I will have to take it along. We have a Coleman stove.......
