I also only own 5 pairs of shoes...and I'm constantly trying to get down to four. ROFL! (c:

My PC has both an 8qt and 3qt pan/pot. It was a "multi cooker" set, so it also has a steamer basket and pasta basket insert. It truly replaced most of my larger pots and appliances all in one convenient stacking set. (It's the Manttra multi-cooker, for anyone who cares. My mom gave it to me for Christmas, so it was "free", but I think she paid about $75 for it. It's stainless, but a rocker-top, which I have NOT found to be an inconvenience at all or affect any recipe that I've cooked.)

I have this idea that there is a magic in simplicity, and I get so *cluttered* so easily. I just make rice in the microwave, and it's perfect every time. (Here in south Alabama, the less "heat" you can turn on in the kitchen, the better.)

I am going to get rid of my crockpot and my vegetable steamer. My PC has made those obsolete.

But you do have a way of making the Kuhn and the Farberware sound so appealing; you definitely turn on my "grass is greener" gene. Grin!
