I couldn't wait to start playing with it, and after lots of browsing in my Lorna Sass book, I went with Garlic Lovers' Lentil Soup for my first time. It was great! I did need to bring it back up to high pressure again, because the lentils hadn't softened, but Sass had warned that that might happen. Another few minutes and it was perfect!

I cut the recipe in half because not all of my family were home and they're not the soup lover that I am. But my 9-year-old liked it, which is saying a LOT lol. One serving of leftover soup is now in my freezer and the other is going to work with me tomorrow :-)

Today I'm going to make Cuban Frijoles Negros (black beans)....
