Sorry you had trouble with the recipe. If you try it again, make sure you lower the heat of the burner on which you're cooking. If you're using an electric stove, try using a different burner that is on medium low, that you switch to when the pc reaches high pressure. That is what I did. No trouble with scorching. I burnt rice in my pc and it took several days before I could get it cleaned. Too high heat is what caused it. Good luck!
