Thanks Guy. The rice was nice and dry I will admit. When I do it regular on the stove I use twice as much water as rice, so it does have more moisture in it then. And as I said, doing it in the bowl was a wonderful convience. I guess I will just have to jump in and experiment like all of you. Do you have a very large family to do so much rice at one time??? I've never found rice to be particularly good to freeze, so I don't see the advantage of making a ton at once. Sandra
