Hi Kim - I live at 5800, and I don't alter my recipes significantly. I generally try the recipe as written, and if it's not quite done bring it back to pressure for a couple of minutes. I know that when I backpack at higher elevations I have to cook things much longer (we're talking in boiling water) to achieve 'regular' results. Best - Heart
