You may want to check out a bowl from Crate & Barrell. The model name is: Lisboa Soufle #130-753 2.25 qt. made in Portugal $19.95 It fits neatly in a 6 liter pressure cooker on a tripod 2 1/8" high. With a lower tripod of about 1 1/2" high (or lower) it would fit into a 4.5 liter unit. Cooking with an insert allows much more control over how much water to put in with various foods. Because there is no need to add extra water to prevent scorching it is possible to make rice (& other grains) which is not mushy but light & fluffy. I think it tastes better too.
