This makes sense, though I have been looking at the Kuhn Rikon (sp.). It does appeal to the gadget-aholic in me. I'm relatively sure I'd use a PC because I would rather get my protein from beans and grains than from the the processed tofu products out on the market. Dried beans are cheaper than canned beans, and they aren't difficult to prepare- as long as you've planned ahead. To me, one of my reasons for going vegan was a desire to eat a diet based on more natural foods. Although tofu meats are wonderful, to me they seem like better living through chemistry.
