You can cook dry beans without presoaking at all. You can "quick soak" them by bringing them up to pressure, cooking for a minute or two depending on the size of the bean, and then release, change the water, and cook. You can bring them to a boil and soak them for an hour or so in the hot water, then rinse and cook. OR you can soak them overnight and then cook. However you do it, they cook faster than any other method in the PC, and they are SO tasty. If you add your spices while cooking, they are infused with flavor.
