Why don't you like the jiggle top? Three of mine are older jiggle tops, and the 4th one is the Kuhn Rikon non-jiggle top. I do like it a lot, but there is something about hearing that jiggle top that reminds me that I have something cooking in the kitchen.... Of course I have only been using them for about twenty-something years.
