Subject: Advice for 1st time PC shopper

Does anyone have any advice as to where to buy and what kind of pressure cooker I should buy? I'm a single vegan, and right now, I think I would primarily use it for dried beans, and occasionally corn on the cob. I went on Target's web site and they have two. Are there different kinds? One of my books implies that there might be a kind other than the jiggle-topped ones. My mother has two PC's, and both of hers have the jiggle top.
