I am new to this board, glad to have found it. I want to buy a pressure cooker but I'm completely confused over which one! Should I get an electric or stovetop? What size is best for a beginner? What brands are good and which are losers??? Williams Sonoma tried to sell me this enormous electric programmable version yesterday for $199...A brand name I've never heard of. I nearly bought it just because the salesperson was persuasive, but then realized there are other options - only I haven't the slightest idea what they are! Thanks for your help!
