I figure if I cook it in X minutes on the stove now, I can cook it in X/4 (or less) minutes if I just use the PC. LOL. While I enjoy chopping and dicing and baking and all aspects of cooking, I really enjoy eating the most. What I've found is that by using my PC I've got more time to (1)clean up the kitchen space while it's cooking and (2) make dishes like salads and veggie trays that are just chop and serve. I've been keeping a veggie tray "ready to go" in the fridge nonstop since the PC hit the stovetop, so we are eating more raw stuff too. It's a real win-win.

I think the reason cooking in less time on the stove top with the PC actually gives me MORE time in the kitchen is that you never check on the food or have to stir it while it's cooking, plus the need to monitor the PC keeps me from ADDedly (my own word for my short attention span, pronounced A-D-D-edly) wandering off to do other things while food simmers.
