This is one of my favorite recipes (from a nonveg recipe I adapted not long after we began McDougalling), and I adapted it today for the PC. Turned out pretty good, although once again, I think I need to precook the beans a bit longer. If I just had the foresight or time to presoak, but alas, I never will. LOL. PC Sausage Chowder 2 cups dry garbanzo beans Cook at high pressure for 30 minutes, then quick release. (Next time, I'll do this for 40 minutes in my PC. It's possible with my jiggle top cooker that I just don't get the pressure that you guys do with Kuhn Rikons.) Rinse beans and return to PC. Add: 1 28 oz can of spaghetti sauce or crushed tomatoes Add'l ideas: onion, bell pepper, celery or any other veggie--I like the taste of just potatoes, beans and sausage. Cook at high pressure for 15 minutes. Quick release and serve. I added extra water at this point since it's a very thick stew and not really a soup at all. Lori
