I opened the pressure cooker for the first time 42 minutes after I entered the kitchen. It sure smelled like chili (grin) but the black beans were still a little tough. So, I closed it back up, and gave it another 5 minutes under pressure, and a natural pressure release. Perfect Black Bean Chili. YUM. I think I should probably have left the black beans to do a natural pressure release when I quick-soaked them first, and that would have solved the problem. So, total time from dry beans to scrumptious chili was 55 minutes. Not too shabby. Lori
