Subject: Quick Soaking Problem ...

Does anyone else have trouble with beans that have been quick soaked not cooking evenly? I'm using the Kuhn Rikon instruction book directions and have had this happen with pintos and chickpeas. I never noticed the problem when I would do the overnight long soak.
I might try Guy's quick soak method before giving up and going back to long soaks. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem?
