After doing a 1 hour "hot soaking" it should take 20-30 minutes of cooking under pressure. The hot soak is done by putting beans in boiling water, boiling for about 3 minutes and then turn off the burner & let the pot sit for an hour. Rinse thoroughly and put in your pressure cooker. I do cook just about everything in a double boiler inside the pressure cooker so you may find that cooking times will be on the lower end of the range. BTW, for me, doing the hot soak eliminates nearly all of the gas which commonly occurs from eating beans.
