use powdered dishwasher soap (Cascade works best) with another water to just get it a little wet. Let the pot soak.

I overdid some rice, and thought I'd never get the pot clean -- an overnight soak with Cascade did the trick.

--I only use a soft brush to clean my Kuhn, by the way--
