I really like both of my pressure cookers, and find that I use *both* of them daily. I prefer to cook chili in my electric, as I think the Kuhn is better for more "delicate" foods that need a little more finesse. But the Kuhn cooks a beautiful chili as well. In an ideal world, I'd rather have both. If I were a college student without a kitchen, I'd get the electric. If I had a small kitchen, I'd get the Kuhn, as the electric is bigger. If space is not an issue...hard choice. The Farberware and the Kuhn are both fabulous tools. If you lived around here, I'd invite you over to test out both of mine -- that's what I did with my in-laws (mom-in-law chose the Kuhn, and adores hers). On the other hand, we got my parents the Farberware, and they're crazy about it.

If I'm making a bean dish, I'll quick soak the beans in one cooker, and prepare the rest of the ingredients in the other. This makes for some incredibly fast bean dishes -- but I understand a 2nd cooker is a luxury for some (but an necessity for PC addicts!). For dinner, you can have a rice dish going in one cooker, and a lovely soup in the other.

I don't have the fryer, as we're not big into fried foods around here.
