Subject: soup - a few basic q's

If I was to make a kale, white bean & potato soup, can I just throw the raw kale, raw pots, & soaked beans into
the pc for the time it takes to cook the beans? Or do I need to pre cook the kale & potato & add separately?

Also, for the first time since I got my pc, I have carrots, celery & onions - if I'm using these ingredients, do I
need to use stock or can I just use water or a weak bouillon?
