My intro. PC owner since Christmas, jiggle-top DH knew I wanted one and bought the cheapest one, to see if I really WANTED one. Cooked crock rice and a stew and soup and potatoes, then the novelty wore off I guess, that or the jiggle top was too much for a new person. Fast forward to last weekend, the local K-mart is closing a store and I found an opened T-Fal sensor 2 for sale, at $6.39. HOLY BUCKETS!!!
Now I have a new interest again, I think the design is better suited for me.
On to the topic above, during my Sprink Break, I spent my time with my Grandma who had a knee replacment. While looking in a bookshelf I came across an old, and I mean OOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDD copy of a Montgomery Wards Pressure Cooker Canning leaflet. It is easily from the early thirties. In the past, during trips to used book stores, I have seen books that use the PC as a canner. In fact, when I told girlfriend I got one for Christmas, she didn't even know you could cook with them.
Has anyone make jams or the like with theirs?
