I have a conventional jigger-top pressure cooker. I have trouble getting the seal to work. The PC is new, I only bought it a couple of months ago, so I don't think any of the parts should be worn out. Liquid boils out of a safety valve on the side of the lid (not the one on the top). I have to unseal, wash the lid and reseal several times before the seal holds and the pressure can build. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on what I can do? I thought maybe I need a new gasket, but I haven't used this one enough to wear it out yet!
