This is my first p/c for regulare cooking. Years ago I bought a large "canning" p/c. It seemed like a lot of trouble and did not use it more than a few times. That's mainly the reason I chose the Farberware. Once I set the buttons, I am done with it 'til it is finished cooking. I love it.
