Try it like this: 3 cups rice 5 1/4 cups water 1 1/2 tsp salt Bring the water (w/salt) to a boil. Add rice, bring to a boil again. Once water and rice are boiling, put top on, bring to high pressure. Once high pressure is reached, put stove on low, and cook for 23 minutes. Perfect every time!
