I can agree with you that Cutco may not be for everyone, however, it does fit the needs of households. And you cannot beat the guarantee. And I don't understand the big deal about paying for shipping. I would, as with most people, would rather spend $8 on resharpining my knives versus buying a new set of knives every 10-15 years.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with Vector selling Cutco, but obviously you were in it for the wrong reasons.
