I am presently using just a stainless steel mixing bowl as my insert.
I am curious about the lid on the Ohsawa pot: is it tight fitting or
loose fitting? I have lots of lids that fit loosely on my stainless steel
bowl. From the pictures I have seen I assume the Ohsawa lid is
loose fitting. Unless you have experience otherwise, I'll give a try to
using my insert and loose fitting lid - without the "greens cover" -
and see what happens.
