Last March I bought a brand new in the box Quick Cuisine stainless steel pressure cooker at a garage sale for $30. I always wanted one but don't really know how to use one. The book that comes with it is pretty good at explaining how to use it, but I have a few questions the book doesn't answer. It came with inserts, to cook multiple things at once, when I am cooking rice or beans, do I need to put any of those in or do I just throw everything into the pot, put the lid on and pressure cook? How long do I cook beans and are some longer-cooking than others, as in regular stove top cooking? Will it cook soybeans better than stove top, I know in stsove top you can cook and cook and they never seem to get softened. Any tips are appreciated!
