I don't know for sure what type of pressure cooker it is. Currently on ebay there are four different Magfesa pressure cookers, two of each of one kind.
Is the one that you have like the ones with the short stubby handles or the ones with the one long handle? Log onto ebay and do a search on Magfesa and the four will come up. If it is like the ones with the short stubby handles, currently the first and third ones for sale, you can remove the whole pressure assembly by turning a knurled knob on the inside of the lid. I don't know about the other type. Good luck.
