Never..... A new 4qt presto can be had for 25. These can explode with deadly force. If it has
ever been run dry it can fatique thr aluminum. I am purchasing my second one and am
getting a 6 qt stainless.I ruined my old one with "A new recipe" Had that one for years.
Cheaper than a microwave and 10x better. Enjoy
