Subject:         Steaming Veggies

I'm trying to eat mostly raw food. I've heard before that some vegetables should be cooked a little for easier digestion, such as potatos and broccoli. Is this true? If so, what vegetables should be lightly steamed? Is it healthy to steam veggies? Thank you for your help.
